
China and the United States agreed to cooperate to deter North Korea from its nuclear program, just hours before the pariah state reportedly fired another missile. U.S. President Barack Obama announced on Thursday that Washington and Beijing would join forces to discourage actions, like Pyongyang’s nuclear missile tests, “that escalate tensions and violate international obligations,” the BBC reported.
